Gonzalo Ruelas is a multidisciplinary painter focused mainly on large format oil painting as well as murals. His research includes analog and digital photography but also ceramics, sculpture and installation.

Born in 1992 in Mexico City, he trained at the «NABA» University in Milan, before moving to Florence and refined his painting technique at the «Academia di belle arti di Firenze» where he graduated with a B.A. in painting and fine arts. He concluded his studies with a masters degree in Visual arts at the «Universität der Künste Berlin». He is based and works as an independent artist in Germany´s capital city.
